| | Difficult Layout | | | | This step system was a real challenge. We had fixed factors that could not be altered. Such as the location of the driveway, the closeness of the porch to the driveway and the quick ascent we had to make to get from the driveway to the porch. Another factor was the width and thickness of each stone step. But not to worry, that was one of the reasons our client hired us, creativity! As you can see we serpentined the steps slightly to accomodate our tread issue. Additionally we had to construct a boulder wall that these steps had to climb through.
