Bloomfield Hills Elegance

We have managed the grounds at this Bloomfield Hills estate for a number of years. The client’s most important focus is to have color as much as possible. Its my intent to provide stunning colorful gardens. Each year we improve some of the aging beds with new and more lush plantings. Because of the quarantine in Michigan on regular Impatients we have turned to Begonia, Coleus, Astilbe, Pulmonoria, and recently New Guinea Impatients. Additionally I have several varieties of Hydrangea that I manage. This property has lots of shade and a deer family meanders through regularly. Consequently, in addition to keeping the blooms popping, we have to spray deer repellant to ward off our hungry friends. I have over 22 varieties of Hosta on the grounds along with hundreds of day lillys and I don’t want to create a lunch buffet for the deer. So far my deer repellant has been successful. This property has an extensive irrigation system which we manage to provide the proper water to all plants.
