Milford, Michigan Waterfall Construction

This waterfall was completed in December. The amazing thing about this project was that we actually created the entire hill!. We brought in over 525 cubic yards of soil and constructed a retaining wall made of 2-3′ boulders. The origin of these falls begins high up on the hill among the large Spruce that we also brought in. The pump on this feature is moving over 125 gallons per minute. We used a variety of stone including Black Granite, Green River flagstone, Canadian rockery, cobblestone, 1 and 2 foot boulders and river gravel. The water from the stream falls into a natural pond and is recirculated continuously. The waterfalls are fully illuminated at night for an awesome evening effect.
