Residential Stream in White Lake Michigan

This stream was constructed five years ago and I wanted to show how the stream looks today after some of the plant material I planted then, has grown in and enhanced this feature. We have the pump in the lake and it is pushing 65 gallons per minute. The origin is about 60 feet from the lake and the stream winds about 100 feet. The drop on this stream is mild and the water lazily flows back to the lake. I put limestone slabs and accent boulders in the stream and lined the sides with one foot boulders, ledgerock and cobblestone. Its important to use stone of proper scale to the feature to make the appearance as natural as possible.
